2nd International
Workshop
“COMPUTER SCIENCE AND EDUCATION IN
COMPUTER SCIENCE”
June, 5-7 2006, Borowetz-Sofia, Bulgaria
Introduction: Computer Science in Agenda 21 of
UNO
The
discovery of the theory of information by Shannon
is leading to scientific revolution (Thomas Kuhn) which realized a new
dimension in scientific and social communication. Agenda 21 of United
Nations demands better ecology and economy with their fundamentals education,
medicine and science. Logic, mathematics and informatics are today basic
methodical disciplines for all sciences. The aims of Agenda 21 could not be
realized without creation of international institutions incl. a network of
national ones. The International Council for Scientific Development (ICSD) with
its central body, the International Academy of Science (IAS) proposes
the foundation of an international university, hospital, global agency for
ecology as model for future international institutions under participation
of industrial and developing countries. During the first workshop on Computer
Science and Education were included first reports on informatics in context of
ICSD/IAS. In this year the workshop on Computer Science and Education will be
connected with an ICSD-conference on "International
University
in context of Agenda 21 of UNO" with aims to all participants to discuss a
proposal about the foundation of Intern. Faculties for
Anthropology and Informatics incl. steps for political and financial support by
national, European (EU) and international (UNO) governmental and private
(Bancs, industries, etc.) institutions. We hope that all scientists,
politicians, industrials and other persons with good will (Kant) could
help to realize the ICSD-projects, i.e. for a support of Agenda 21. The
international faculties for anthropology and informatics could be first models
for creation of further faculties.
